Ordered the calamari marco, meatballs, orecchiette vito with squash agrodolce, and the spicy rigatoni vodka with potato Louie. We received complimentary bread, salumi, parmesan and cauliflower. The bread wasn't to my liking except the garlic bread. The cauliflower was pickled. There were some onions in there too, which really tasted great. I would have preferred more onions over the cauliflower. The calamari comes with a sauce. they ask you if you prefer on the side or poured on top (preferred by the chef). We had them pour it on top. It was good but, next time I'll ask for it on the side. The calamari on the bottom was soggy. The meatballs were a hit with my wife. I thought it was ok, only because I'm not a fan of Italian sausage. The orecchiette pasta was way to al dente, it was a bit chewy and tough. It was very savory. It also had sausage, which I pushed to the side. The squash was a surprise hit for me. So sweet and buttery. My favorite of the night. I tried the spicy rigatoni and I can see why it's very popular. The pasta was al dente (the right way). The potatoes were not to our liking. We alao had dessert. My wife liked her tiramisu icecream and the carrot cake was ok. Overall, the food was good. Taste is subjective but preparation is not. The restaurant was very beautiful and charming. The staff from the valet to the runners and everyone in between were great and friendly. I wish I had asked our waitress's name. She regularly checked up on us, very friendly and helpful. Would I come back? I would.

Perfect for Business dinners, special occasions, and the best date night spot in D! Food is awesome, felt like I was in Manhattan, but service was the best. Spicy Rigatoni, Caesar, Carpaccio were awesome per usual, sleepers on the menu are the crudos, baked clams, orechettie, and the Dover Picatta. Dry Aged Wagyu Cowboy Ribeye, grilled perfectly. Lemon cheesecake and coconut sorbet with the rum cart is the best for dessert. Carrot cake is awesome too, with the Ginger gelato and cream cheese icing was delicious. Julia was our captain for this particular dinner, service and support team was flawless. From the front door, Sommelier, and server assistant. Drinks from the bar were brilliant. Aperol spritz, espresso martinis were perfect. The Negroni *ordered mine with mezcal was my favorite.

I had family over from New York and they ranted and raved about this place and they were so excited to try it. They said the experience was underwhelming and nothing compared to the NY Carbone. The bread basket selection was decent. No flavor in the plain bread and the sauce bread, th other one had a lot of flavor but too oily buttery. Was not a fan of the Caesar salad at all, the croutons had a lot of flavor but too oily and big for my taste. We had the spicy rigatoni it was good but not amazing. We had Dover fish which was good. The lobster was ok tasted like sweet bbq tangy not sure how I felt about it. Desserts all have pork in it which was a bit odd because they have vegetarian friendly dishes. It’s silly to pay $30+ for just pasta without a protein. Overall we had a great time especially because the service was top notch. I’d recommend this place to others and would go again and order specials of the day.

We went here for my son’s 20th birthday. The music and ambiance was great! Service is excellent but be aware to ask about prices of specials. We paid wwwaaaayyy too much for a steak that’s was average. Overall worth going at least once. Meatballs were fine, bread basket is delicious, great wine selection, rigatoni is amazing but steak is overpriced. Comes sliced which is nice.

Overall, a very solid place for good Italian food. We came here for drinks and dinner. The cocktails were good. The complimentary bread basket and meat were fantastic and honestly worth paying for. The calamari batter was very light and had a unique taste/texture without being overly greasy. It was one of our favorites. The spicy rigatoni was also excellent. The fettuccine con funghi was flavorful, but the fettuccine was a bit overcooked. Not quite bad enough to send back, but definitely on the mushier side. The veal parmesan was disappointing, and we wished we got something else instead. The tiramisu was excellent (and huge). Overall, it was a nice meal. It was not the best Italian we had, but it was solid. Personally, I think that the pricing is a bit steep for what it is.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding — A True Dallas Gem Carbone’s is easily one of the best dining experiences in Dallas. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and an atmosphere that feels both classic and elevated. The service is exceptional — attentive without ever being intrusive — and you can tell the staff truly take pride in what they do. The food is the real star here. Every dish is executed perfectly, from the fresh house-made pasta to the incredible sauces and impeccably seasoned entrées. The rigatoni vodka and veal parm are absolute must-tries — and the lobster ravioli is truly spectacular. Perfectly tender pasta, a rich and delicate filling, and a sauce that ties it all together — it’s unforgettable. Even the simpler items, like the bread service and salads, are crafted with care and quality ingredients that make them stand out. The ambiance is energetic yet intimate, making it great for a date night, business dinner, or a special celebration. Carbone’s manages to combine big-city polish with genuine hospitality, and it shows in every detail. If you’re in Dallas and want an unforgettable meal, look no further. Carbone’s delivers on every level — food, service, and experience. Highly recommended!

Honestly… this was really delicious. I admit, I am one of the people who for sure considered Carbone overhyped and couldn’t ever see myself going. However, my mom was in town and treated us to dinner and it was really phenomenal. The service was exceptional, and every detail was taken into account from the changing of plates between courses, to the honest food recommendations by the staff. Extremely expensive? Absolutely. But amazingly delicious? Yes. The dishes are meant to be shared because they are LARGE! We ordered 1 starter / salad, 2 pastas, 1 main dish, 1 side, and 1 desert for 3 people, which was honestly a lot of food and we ended up taking plenty home. The cocktails were a hit, and I really enjoyed the extensive list of grappa they had to offer. One word of advice - the atmosphere varies WILDLY between the “outside” warehouse space, and the “inside” cozy low lit atmosphere. It’s hard to explain, but there are almost 2 different versions of Carbone, and I’m not sure what determines where you sit. We sat on the “inside” which had lovely light fixtures, table lamps, built in booths in the walls, and a gorgeous bar. The “outside” had white air ducts hanging down from the ceiling , with fluorescent lighting until about 9 pm, which kind of feels like a pop up experience.
